Google Alerts
With a Google account, you can create alerts that bring the news to you! Creating an account is easy, just go to the Google homepage, click ‘sign in’ (located in the right corner), then click ‘create a free account’.
Once your account is created, go to the Google Alerts homepage to set up your alerts! You want to use the most relevant terms, which you will enter into the search bar on the Alert page. Here are some suggestions:
- Cheer Competition
- Cheer Stunts
- Cheerleading News
- Cheerleading Championships
If you know the specific name of the competition or competitions that you want to follow, you can create an alert for those too.
You will have full control over the type of content you get alerts for (news, video, blogs), and also control how often you receive a new alert. Once you create the alert, you’ll get all the latest updates delivered straight to your email for easy access!
Television
You can usually find coverage of the bigger competitions on ESPN. You might also want to check individual competition sites to see if they are offering any live streaming of their events.
